About The Position

This full-time position is based out of the Main Bank facility for Central Bank of the Ozarks and floats to any of the bank’s 20 banking centers as needed to perform Teller and Customer Service Representative duties. The Teller works in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for advancement and provides a variety of account services, including handling deposits, withdrawals, and payments, greeting customers, and maintaining accounts. The candidate represents the company and builds customer relationships by learning about customers’ needs and providing solutions to support their financial well-being.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Basic math skills.
• Intermediate PC and typing skills.
• Ability to count U.S. currency.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong customer relations skills.
• Ability to communicate and work cooperatively and positively with employees and customers.
• Enjoy customer interactions, including actively looking for referral opportunities in a customer-centric manner.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Cash handling and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions accurately and promptly in a friendly, professional manner through the lobby, drive-thru, night-drop, mail, or ATM.
• Balance daily work and the assigned cash drawer, and research differences where applicable.
• Listen actively to customers and communicate in a friendly, positive manner, including in difficult situations.
• Provide quality customer service by following the Legendary Service Standards.
• Recognize and interpret customer needs and recommend customer-centric bank products and services.
• Refer customers to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services.
• Participate in the branch sales program and work toward goal achievement.
• Perform teller functions in accordance with established bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
