About The Position

This full-time position is based at the Main Bank facility for Central Bank of the Ozarks and floats to any of the bank’s 20 banking centers as needed to perform Teller and Customer Service Representative duties. The Teller works in a fast-paced environment and provides teller account services, including handling deposits, withdrawals, payments, greeting customers, and maintaining accounts. The role represents the company to customers and focuses on building relationships, understanding customers’ financial needs, and providing suitable solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Basic math skills.
• Intermediate PC and typing skills.
• Ability to count U.S. currency.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong customer relations skills and the ability to communicate and work cooperatively and positively with employees and customers.
• Enjoy customer interactions and actively look for customer-centered referral opportunities.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions accurately and promptly in a friendly, professional manner through the lobby, drive-thru, night-drop, mail, or ATM.
• Balance daily work and the assigned cash drawer, and research discrepancies as applicable.
• Listen actively and communicate in a friendly, positive manner, including in difficult situations, while applying the Legendary Service Standards.
• Identify and interpret customer needs, recommend customer-centered bank products and services, and refer customers to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services.
• Participate in the branch sales program and work toward achieving goals.
• Perform teller functions in accordance with established bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
