Floating Retail Site Coordinator
About The Position
Be the friendly, customer-facing representative at St. Louis Composting retail locations. The coordinator greets customers dropping off compost and mulch ingredients, such as leaves, grass, and trees, and customers picking up finished products, including mulch and top soil. The role involves managing traffic, educating customers about products, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. This floating position may be stationed at the Maryland Heights, Florissant, Hall Street, or St. Peters locations, offering work across different sites and customer environments. Candidates must complete a background check to comply with Department of Transportation requirements and extensive drug testing, including urine, breath alcohol, and hair follicle testing.
Requirements
- Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in completing retail transactions using the inventory control tracking system (NetSuite).
- Pass a background check required for Department of Transportation compliance.
- Complete drug testing, including urine, breath alcohol, and hair follicle testing.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Site Manager to support smooth daily operations and complete retail tasks.
- Guide and assist customers during drop-off and pick-up, providing directions and support.
- Address customer requests and complaints professionally to ensure a positive experience.
- Educate customers about products and help them choose options for their projects.
- Manage customer traffic, keep supplies stocked, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
- Complete retail transactions using the inventory control tracking system (NetSuite).
