About The Position

Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on the assigned unit. This is a day-shift position with 12-hour shifts, scheduled 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including every other weekend and holidays. The salary range is $61.454 to $70.338 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Registration as an RN in New York State; diploma and licensure required.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One to two years of med-surg experience required.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• ACLS preferred.
• Med-Surg certification preferred.
• Experience with telemetry and/or ventilator patients preferred.
