About The Position

PT Solutions is hiring a full-time Float Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation therapy at Ascension St. Vincent Evansville in Evansville, Indiana. The role floats between the Acute Care and Acute Rehab Unit locations. PT Solutions works with Ascension St. Vincent Evansville to provide rehabilitation services and is focused on expanding access to transformative care through evidence-based therapy, collaboration, and professional development.

The occupational therapist delivers quality care to patients with neuro, trauma, and orthopedic needs, develops timely treatment plans, and supports patients in returning to their previous level of functioning or progressing to their next level of care. The role also involves building positive relationships with patients, families, clinicians, physicians, case management, nurses, and other hospital team members.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACOTE-approved occupational therapy program.
• Registered with NBCOT.
• Current or pending state licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient, empowering them to return to their previous level of functioning or proceed to the next level of care.
• Establish timely treatment plans specific to each patient’s needs.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital, including with physicians, case management, and nurses.
