About The Position

As a Frontier Airlines Flight Attendant, safety is the first responsibility. The role creates a secure, welcoming inflight experience and supports customers from boarding through arrival. Flight Attendants conduct safety procedures, operate aircraft doors and emergency equipment, provide inflight service, respond to medical or security situations, and assist customers throughout the journey. This highly visible position requires preparedness, clear communication, and decisive action when needed. Flight Attendants are assigned to one of Frontier’s 13 crew bases according to operational needs and seniority. The assigned base may differ from the employee’s current residence, and employees must be willing and able to report to the assigned base. After certification, new hires may begin on Reserve before moving to a regular schedule. Schedule flexibility and base-transfer opportunities depend on seniority and business needs. Selected candidates complete 3.5 weeks of initial training, which is unpaid. Lodging is provided, along with specified weekday and Saturday meals; trainees are responsible for Saturday dinner and all meals on Sunday. After successfully completing training, trainees complete Initial Operating Experience (IOE) before becoming fully certified. The position requires standing and moving around a pressurized aircraft cabin for extended periods; lifting and stowing bags weighing approximately 35–50 pounds; pushing and pulling galley carts weighing up to 100 pounds; reaching overhead up to 67 inches; operating aircraft doors, exits, and emergency equipment; hearing and responding to cabin signals and instructions; bending, balancing, and performing repetitive movements; and securing oneself in a Flight Attendant jumpseat using standard belts and harnesses without extensions.
