About The Position

The Flex Operator safely operates router machinery, meets quality and production standards, and supports efficient operations through training and teamwork while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The role rotates among and operates Router machines, with competency developed through training, learning, testing, and demonstrated performance. The operator maintains production rates and quality, performs housekeeping and 5S, keeps accurate records, and sets up or changes simple fixturing and standard tooling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliably report to work as scheduled and be rarely absent.
• Complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner while remaining aware of assignments.
• Communicate effectively with management, the leader, and the team.
• Maintain a professional manner and constructive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Rotate among and safely operate machines in Router.
• Meet quality standards and production rates.
• Complete training, learning, testing, and competency demonstrations as part of the progression process.
• Perform housekeeping and maintain 5S in the work area.
• Use applicable tools and accurately maintain necessary records.
• Set up and change simple fixturing and standard tooling.
