About The Position

SIXT is hiring a Fleet Technician to maintain and repair vehicles so they are ready for customers and available for rental operations. The role includes basic mechanical repairs, vehicle inspections, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The position offers a starting hourly rate of $22 and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or graduation from a trade school.
• ASE Certifications in Suspension & Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5), or willingness to earn them within the first year of employment.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
• Able to work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts.
• Open to travel of 5–10%.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical repairs, including oil changes, mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, and brake and part replacements.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections on fleet vehicles as required by management.
• Meet daily output goals and maintain a minimum efficiency of 100%.
• Use personal protective equipment whenever performing repairs, including safety glasses in automotive shops.
• Clean the work area daily and maintain a clean work environment.
