About The Position

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles to keep drivers safe and on the road delivering PepsiCo brands. Diagnose mechanical issues, complete preventative maintenance, and work alongside experienced mechanics on complex repairs and troubleshooting. The role also includes returning vehicles to the traffic center when needed, managing parts inventory, recording parts and labor on work orders, and working with vendors to obtain estimates for parts or outside labor. The position is based onsite in San Antonio, Texas. Workdays are Monday through Friday, with a listed schedule of 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; weekend, holiday, or off-shift work may also be required. Hands-on and classroom training are provided. The workplace is fast-paced and active, with lifting, bending, moving product, and working on or under trucks for extended periods.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a valid CDL Class B license.
Have a driver's license that has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three years.
Be able to lift 50 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to work in tight spaces for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to work on or under trucks for an entire shift of 8 to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
May be required to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts.
