About The Position

Maintain and repair PepsiCo fleet vehicles to keep drivers safe and on the road delivering brands such as Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos. The role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and helping ensure vehicles are reliable. Work takes place in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, with on-the-job training provided through practical and classroom instruction.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid D10K Certification.
Have a driver's license that has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three years.
Be able to lift 50 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to work in tight spaces for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to work on or under trucks for an entire shift of 8 to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
A CDL is required to return vehicles to the traffic center when needed.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance.
Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed; a CDL is required for this task.
Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor.
