About The Position

The Fleet Supervisor leads and directs the Tyson private fleet transportation team to achieve business and financial objectives. The role is based at the Springdale, Arkansas terminal office and works a second-shift schedule from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Wednesday through Friday and every other Saturday. The schedule alternates between four days on and three days off, then three days on and four days off.

The position provides team leadership, functional supervision, and training for other team members. Occasional domestic travel of one to five trips per year is required. Candidates must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. A resume is required for consideration.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in transportation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Acts as a team leader, providing functional supervision and training for other team members.
• Occasional domestic travel of 1–5 trips per year.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Familiarity with Tyson Business Computer Systems, Sale Inventory SAP Transportation, and Warehousing Systems is a plus.
