About The Position

Weed Man Lawn Care is seeking a dependable and motivated Fleet Maintenance Technician to maintain fleet vehicles and turf application equipment. This steady, year-round position focuses primarily on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and general repairs rather than heavy engine rebuilds. The technician helps keep equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably while working independently and as part of a supportive team.

The role involves fleet vehicles; fertilizer and spray application equipment; aerators and spreader/sprayers; pumps and small engine equipment; preventative maintenance and diagnostics; and general repair and upkeep.

Requirements

• Previous mechanic or maintenance experience is preferred.
• Experience with fleet vehicles, small engines, or equipment repair is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
• Dependability and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fleet vehicles and equipment to identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service work.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot spray systems, pumps, and small engine equipment.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Communicate equipment concerns and recommended repairs as needed.
