About The Position

As a Fleet Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource ensuring JLL's mobile equipment and fleet vehicles operate at peak performance. Your primary purpose is to deliver professional, timely, and accurate repair services that minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency across our client operations. This role directly contributes to JLL's commitment to operational excellence by maintaining the reliability and safety of our fleet assets while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients. You will combine hands-on technical expertise with customer service excellence to support JLL's reputation as a world-class facilities and asset management provider.

Requirements

Proven technical background in industrial equipment repair and preventative maintenance programs
Strong working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems for mobile equipment and fleet vehicles
Demonstrated computer proficiency, particularly with work order management systems and data entry applications
Excellent diagnostic and analytical troubleshooting abilities
Valid driver's license with clean driving record (required for mobile service delivery)
Ability to follow all company policies and safety procedures without exception
Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional client and team interactions

Nice To Haves

ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) or equivalent technical certifications
Experience with fleet management software or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
Background working in commercial real estate, facilities management, or corporate fleet environments
Familiarity with DOT compliance requirements and vehicle safety regulations
Previous experience managing parts inventory and vendor relationships
Ability to recommend service improvements based on industry best practices
Multilingual capabilities to serve diverse client populations

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mobile equipment, fleet vehicles, and machinery using mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical expertise
Complete repair jobs efficiently and professionally while maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols
Document all repair activities using work order systems and computer programs, including labor time, equipment details, repair categories, and parts inventory changes
Maintain accurate company and consignment parts inventories through proper procedures and timely ordering processes
Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and clients, including proactive recommendations for process improvements to the Fleet Operations Manager
Manage daily workload effectively to prioritize urgent repairs while maintaining scheduled preventative maintenance commitments
Collaborate with team members to share best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives
