About The Position

Clemens Food Group is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Technician to join their experienced 2nd shift team in Hatfield, PA. This role involves working hands-on with diesel trucks and refrigerated transport trailers, identifying problems, completing preventative maintenance, making repairs, and ensuring vehicles and equipment meet safety and compliance expectations. The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot problems, determine necessary actions, and take ownership of getting equipment back into working condition.

Requirements

• Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical problems.
• Ability to work hands-on to find solutions.
• Must be able to consistently work the 2nd shift schedule: Tuesday–Friday | 6:30 PM–5:30 AM.
• Strong mechanical ability.

Nice To Haves

• Previous diesel mechanic experience is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant automotive and heavy-equipment experience are encouraged to apply.
• Diesel repair experience is preferred.
• Technicians coming from heavy-equipment environments who have strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills and want to make the transition into fleet maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across a fleet of diesel trucks and refrigerated transport trailers.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair brake systems.
• Maintain and repair cooling and other mechanical systems.
• Perform routine fleet maintenance.
• Support truck, heavy-equipment, and diesel repair.
• Follow established safety protocols and compliance requirements.
• Continue to develop technical skills through training and certification opportunities.
