About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring all vehicles are fueled, fluids are topped, and interiors are cleaned according to contract specifications. The Fleet Care Worker will also maintain vehicle emergency equipment, document fleet damage, and keep the fuel island and shop area clean and organized. Additionally, the position involves maintaining the landscaping and lot, posting notices in vehicles, and assisting maintenance staff and the manager as needed. The job requires the ability to work independently in various weather conditions and perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks.

Requirements

Must be over 19 years of age.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have an Arizona DL and be willing to obtain a CDL.
Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Able to work without direct supervision.
Must be able to work in and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Customer service skills.
Ability to handle basic maintenance, repairs and cleaning.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during shift.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a physical examination.
Must complete a background check.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Ensure all vehicles are completely fueled, and fluids topped, ready for service.
Clean vehicle interiors according to the contract.
Ensure vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first aid kit) is fully stocked and functional.
Park vehicles according to the facility parking plan.
Document and communicate any fleet damage to the manager.
Maintain and keep the fuel island clean, containing any spills immediately and reporting them to the manager.
Maintain the work area according to all OSHA and EPA regulations.
Clean, mop, and dispose of trash in the shop area daily.
Clean and care for landscaping and the lot as needed.
Post notices in vehicles as required by the client.
Assist maintenance staff and manager as needed.
