About The Position

As a Fleet Operations Associate on the Fleet Operations Team, you will work around the city to ensure vehicles are clean, maintained, and transported to where they are needed for Zipcar members. You may travel on foot, by bike or public transit, or use a Zipcar to help keep vehicles member-ready. Tasks may include changing tires, filling gas tanks, cleaning vehicles, and coordinating towing or repairs. The role is described as the front line of the team, with responsibility for supporting member satisfaction and communicating vehicle status updates to the operations team. The position is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Strong time-management skills to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Excellent communication with the operations team to provide vehicle status updates.
• Flexibility to work 40-hour weeks, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and other conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record according to company standards.
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicles clean and maintained for Zipcar members.
• Transport vehicles to where they are needed around the city, using available modes of transportation.
• Prepare vehicles to be member-ready, including changing tires, filling gas tanks, and cleaning.
• Help coordinate towing or repairs.
• Communicate vehicle status updates to the operations team.
• Support member satisfaction as a front-line member of the team.
