About The Position

As a Fleet Operations Associate on Zipcar’s Fleet Operations Team, you will work throughout the city to keep vehicles clean, maintained, and available where members need them. You will help ensure vehicles are member-ready by handling tasks such as changing tires, filling gas tanks, cleaning vehicles, and coordinating tows or repairs. You will travel by foot, bicycle, public transit, or Zipcar, and communicate vehicle-status updates to the operations team. The role involves working outdoors in varying weather and other conditions.

Requirements

• Strong time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for providing vehicle-status updates to the operations team.
• Flexibility to work 40-hour weeks that include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and other conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record under company standards.
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicles clean and maintained so they are ready for Zipcar members.
• Transport or help position vehicles where they are needed throughout the city.
• Perform vehicle-readiness tasks such as changing tires, filling gas tanks, and cleaning.
• Help coordinate vehicle tows or repairs.
• Provide vehicle-status updates to the operations team.
• Manage multiple priorities and tasks while supporting member satisfaction.
