Part Time Daytime Fitting Room Specialist
About The Position
The Part Time Daytime Fitting Room Specialist supports customers and sales associates by providing friendly service and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized fitting room area. The role includes greeting customers, managing fitting-room check-in and check-out, keeping track of merchandise brought into rooms, preparing merchandise to return to the selling floor, and answering incoming calls. The specialist learns product information to help customers and direct them to the appropriate sales associate when needed. Associates are also expected to follow safety procedures and perform duties in a way that minimizes the risk of injury.
Requirements
- Have or be pursuing a high school diploma or GED, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Have 1–3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push or pull, lift, talk, and hear, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Be able to perform medium work: exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
- Be flexible to work assigned hours within the listed schedule, including varied hours, weekends, and holidays, and be available at least every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and check them in and out of fitting rooms while monitoring the amount of merchandise in each room.
- Prepare merchandise, including buttoning and zipping items, to return to the selling floor.
- Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and pleasant manner.
- Learn product knowledge to assist customers and work effectively with sales associates.
- Answer questions about merchandise location, price, and use, and direct customers to the correct associate when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fitting room environment.
- Follow safety procedures and perform job duties in a manner that minimizes injury risk.
