About The Position

The QC Inspector will be responsible for performing and documenting inspections supporting our fabrication shop with various tasks, including but not limited to performing various quality inspections such as Dimensional, Visual, and Fit-up. The role involves verifying that methods and materials follow project requirements, confirming welding procedures and welder qualifications during fabrication, coordinating with internal customers, and performing receiving inspections of equipment and material.

Requirements

• 2-year technical certification in Welding or engineering technology. Equivalent related work experience acceptable.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to be organized
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Display diplomacy and tact in collaborating with a wide variety of colleagues, customers and suppliers
• Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word)

Responsibilities

• Perform various quality inspections i.e. Dimensional, Visual, Fit-up, etc…

• Coordinate with internal customers
