About The Position

Stew Leonard’s is hiring a part-time Fish Host. Hosts interact directly with customers at service bars, answering product questions, making recommendations, and packaging and pricing customers’ orders. The role also includes helping customers select fish, working with the grill in the kitchen, maintaining a clean and safe workstation, providing exceptional customer service, and meeting the department’s daily needs. The department is colder than room temperature because its products are highly perishable.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to follow health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Strong oral communication skills.
• Personable and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Self-motivated.
• No prior experience required; entry-level position.
• Ability to frequently walk, stand, lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds, and occasionally climb and reach.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with fish selection.
• Answer customer questions about products and offer recommendations.
• Package and price products ordered at the service bar.
• Work with the grill in the kitchen.
