Requirements

  • One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Encode invoices with correct line-item numbers and prepare control vouchers for payment
  • Reconcile monthly and yearly financial data and organize required documents
  • Process cost share billings and prepare invoices for consumers
  • Prepare purchase order forms and verify supplies delivered to the agency
  • Input service delivery information into SAMS and run reports to confirm accuracy
  • Verify petty cash amounts, replenish funds, and prepare bank deposits as needed
