Requirements

• One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Three years of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
• An equivalent combination of experience and training
• Meet the PA residency requirement
• Be able to perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and technical assistance for the preparation and administration of the Department budget
• Evaluate fiscal operations and develop recommendations for funding and spending needs
• Perform regular estimates of revenue and expenditures to confirm adequate financial resources
• Offer fiscal direction to program offices on the use of federal, state, and augmenting funds
• Review fiscal impacts of proposed legislation and assess cost distribution accuracy
• Direct schedules, training, and workflow for assigned fiscal analysts
