The Fiscal Management Specialist 4 position within the Bureau of Central Operations - Budget, Grants, and Administrative Services Division affords the opportunity to support programs that provide services to individuals and families across the Commonwealth. Requirements

One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
Three years of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
An equivalent combination of experience and training
Meet the PA residency requirement
Be able to perform essential job functions
Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

Manage funding for numerous rehabilitation and support programs across several appropriations
Monitor and oversee roughly eighty grants and contracts connected to statewide service programs
Coordinate and prepare all budget documents, fiscal reports, audits, commitments, and expenditures
Lead weekly budget meetings and participate in monthly executive discussions
Provide guidance and updates to field personnel regarding budget matters and required reporting
