Requirements

  • One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Providing advanced financial oversight for multiple funding sources and grant programs that support OVR services.
  • Tracking commitments, expenditures, balances, and financial activity for all OVR funding sources.
  • Preparing budgets, rebudgets, justifications, and financial narratives for state and federal programs.
  • Developing grant packages, reviewing spending, performing reconciliations, and correcting compliance issues.
  • Compiling accounting reports and providing data for required federal and state financial submissions.
  • Reviewing financial trends, assessing funding options, and making adjustment entries when needed.
  • Working with staff during audits and monitoring reviews to ensure accurate documentation.
