Requirements

  • One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 2; or Two years of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Must meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage agency budget development, rebudget submissions, and legislative hearing materials
  • Collect and summarize financial data from all bureaus for review and justification of funding needs
  • Determine departmental revenue estimates used in the governor budget process
  • Prepare monthly and year to date financial statements for restricted and special funds
  • Analyze bureau expenditures and compare projected spending against approved budgets
  • Develop cash flow projections to track funding levels and identify solvency concerns
