DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position supports the State and Special Funds Division by carrying out important accounting and fiscal management tasks. Through your work, you will play a key role in keeping financial information accurate and ensuring smooth processes. As a Fiscal Management Specialist 1, you will perform the following duties: Budget Support: Provide assistance with preparation, analysis, monitoring, and personnel related tasks for state funds System Maintenance: Maintain user access in the Spending Plan System by adding, removing, and updating employee permissions Balance Review: Examine negative balance reports and notify the appropriate analyst of issues requiring attention Revenue Monitoring: Track augmenting revenue deposits and enter corrections in SAP after coordinating with the State Division analyst AR Oversight: Monitor open Accounts Receivable items and work with program areas to pursue delinquent payments and prepare documents for collection Complement Review: Check weekly complement reports to confirm that staffing and salary levels align with authorized levels Interested in learning more?
