About The Position
The main purpose of this full-time position will be to provide fiscal services and accounting support to the St. Mary's County Health Department. This role is limited to current employees of the MDH St. Mary's County Health Department only.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
- Four years of administrative staff or professional work.
- Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with generally accepted accounting principles, theory, procedures and methods.
- Experience using computerized fiscal applications and software to include spreadsheet software and data base applications.
- Experience in preparing, analyzing and interpreting financial reports and statements.
