About The Position

The Firearms Retail Associate provides customer service in a retail store, helping customers with firearms, accessories, bows and crossbows, hunting supplies, and apparel. The role also supports store appearance, inventory stocking, and product displays. Employees must follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations for firearm sales. The position requires Saturday work and some holidays.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to lift 30 pounds.
• Have a clean background; a background check will be conducted.
• Be computer savvy with point-of-sale systems; know how to type and use Microsoft Office proficiently; and be willing to learn new programs.
• Be able to multitask.
• Provide prompt and courteous in-person customer service.
• Be a self-starter and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Greet and acknowledge customers as they enter and leave the store.
• Assist customers with firearms, accessories, bows and crossbows, hunting supplies, and apparel.
• Answer questions about product features, benefits, availability, and pricing.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to firearm sales.
• Help maintain store appearance, perform general cleaning duties, and stock inventory and displays to maximize visibility and sales.
