About The Position

Perform installation of fire protection piping, valves, and accessories for commercial and industrial applications. The installer efficiently and neatly installs wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems, maintains documentation for work performed, and follows company safety policies and procedures. The position involves receiving verbal and written instructions and providing instructions to apprentices. The installer must maintain a clean and safe work area, work professionally, and adapt quickly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in installation and service of fire sprinkler systems.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to perform physical labor.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to carry or move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 pounds.
Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment.
Ability to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer or job requirements.
