About The Position

The Fire Sprinkler Foreman delivers quality products and services that meet or exceed customer and industry standards, with a commitment to job competency and service. The role assists with routine service and maintenance of fire sprinkler and standpipe systems and related equipment, along with testing, pipe work, field documentation, and customer communication. The foreman must manage time effectively, report accidents and customer complaints promptly, and be available for assigned on-call coverage and off-hour emergency service calls.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of related fire sprinkler installation and service experience.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Integrity and honesty.
• Mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels being served.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA Safety Training.
• Backflow Preventer Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine service and maintenance of fire sprinkler and standpipe systems and related equipment.
• Assist with flow tests, fire pump tests, hydrostatic tests, main drain tests, dry valve trip tests, and hydrant tests.
• Operate a Rigid power machine; thread and groove pipe; and ensure proper head spacing.
• Accurately complete and return all field paperwork on time.
• Be available for off-hour emergency service calls and the assigned on-call schedule.
• Immediately report accidents, mishaps, and customer complaints.
• Explain work to customers, answer questions, and address concerns knowledgeably and respectfully.
• Provide accurate and complete information on reports.
• Manage time on the job and while traveling to job sites.
