About The Position
The Fire Sprinkler Foreman oversees the installation of fire protection systems for new and existing industrial, commercial, and some residential projects. The position is based out of the College Station, Texas office and requires approximately 50% local travel. The foreman oversees installation labor on assigned projects and applies knowledge of NFPA code, fire sprinkler system design and installation methods, hydraulic calculations, and material lists.
Requirements
- Fire sprinkler experience.
- General mechanical knowledge.
- Experience in fire protection installation or design.
Nice To Haves
- NICET certification is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Ability to complete documentation and administrative duties as necessary.
- Proficiency in using personal computers and Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Understand the design and layout of fire sprinkler systems.
- Perform or understand hydraulic calculations.
- Conduct field surveying.
- Understand system piping listings for fabrication.
- Coordinate installation activities between trades.
- Manage project costs and understand budgets.
- Oversee installation labor on assigned projects.
