The FinOps / IT Asset and License Analyst will support a new Defense Health Agency program by identifying idle capacity, unused software licenses, and spending that is not mapped to a program. The position is contingent upon contract award, and the start date will align with the program start. The role tracks IT assets and software licenses across both enclaves, performs license rationalization and renewal analysis, builds program-level cost-allocation and FinOps reporting, and supports hardware and asset lifecycle management requests. The preferred location is onsite at the test center in Chantilly, Virginia, though remote work from Huntsville, Alabama, or elsewhere in the continental United States is also possible through government-approved virtual desktop access, with trips to Chantilly when needed. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain the background investigation designated by the Defense Health Agency for the position. Zaden's Facility Security Officer verifies investigation status. Compensation is $90,000 to $127,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
