About The Position

The Finishing Packer inspects, bands, and shrink-wraps stacks of finished labels and assembles and packs boxes of finished labels. The role is responsible for meeting safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards and interacting with other departments to support company strategies. This is an entry-level position intended to provide opportunities to grow into other positions within the company. The role is listed for the 2nd shift.

Requirements

• Able to stand for a full shift.
• Positive attitude.
• Able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Meet the role's physical and vision demands: standing; using hands to feel and touch; reaching; talking and hearing; frequent walking; and occasional climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished labels to ensure quality.
• Band and shrink-wrap stacks of finished labels.
• Assemble corrugated boxes or trays.
• Pack finished labels in boxes for shipment.
• Stack boxes on a pallet for shipment.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Operate a pallet jack.
• Comply with facility safety policies and procedures, work instructions, and applicable regulations, including ISO, GMA SAFE, and HACCP.
• Interact and behave professionally, and treat associates respectfully while maintaining the company's code of ethics.
• Maintain daily housekeeping, which may include painting and cleaning the facility, inside and outside.
• Travel as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
