About The Position

Isola is hiring a Finishing Operator/Inspector at its Chandler, Arizona location. The role converts master sheets into panels or sheets according to production work orders, operates automated or semi-automated cutting equipment, and inspects products for conformance to customer and industry specifications. The operator also performs and cross-trains in several skill-level A–B positions, including finishing operation and inspection, packing, HiPot, and material handling.

The schedule is 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Tuesday, plus every other Saturday. Overtime, including extended shifts and weekend work, is required. Compensation is $22 per hour, plus a $2-per-hour shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well enough to follow work instructions, communicate safety information, and complete job-related documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication with supervisors and team members to support safe and efficient operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Ability to collaborate with team members, follow instructions, and adapt to changing operational priorities.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 12 hours per shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Previous experience operating a forklift or other powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate automated equipment according to customer requirements and work orders.
• Ensure the setup and operation of automated and support equipment.
• Inspect material to ensure it is cut according to customer requests and work orders.
• Report anticipated issues, work stoppages, equipment downtime, workflow problems, and other interruptions to the operations leader.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of material usage and product traceability in the SAP inventory tracking system.
• Perform and cross-train in skill-level A–B positions, including finishing operation and inspection, packing, HiPot, and material handling.
