About The Position

Isola is hiring a D Shift Manufacturing Specialist for the Laminate department at its Chandler, Arizona facility. The specialist performs and cross-trains in multiple skill-level A–D positions across departments as business needs require. The role must provide support in at least five manufacturing processes or skills: Press, Breakdown, Laminate Packing, Finish Cutting (using at least two different cutters), and Finish Inspection. The specialist also supports additional business tasks and projects, covers PTO and absences, and helps meet additional labor needs. The schedule is 6:00 PM–6:30 AM, Wednesday through Friday, plus every other Saturday. Overtime, including extended shifts and weekend work, is required. Compensation is $26 per hour plus a $3.25-per-hour shift differential.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective oral and written communication and proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per shift, bend, reach, and grasp frequently, and lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds.
• For internal candidates: successfully complete the 90-day new-hire or newly transferred probationary period, unless otherwise approved by the employee’s direct supervisor.
• For internal candidates: be in good standing at the time of application; an active Written Warning or Final Written Warning means the employee is not in good standing. Written Warnings remain active for six months from the date issued.
• For internal candidates: meet ongoing workplace expectations, including satisfactory performance, conduct, attendance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for additional tasks and projects as business needs arise.
• Cover PTO and absenteeism and address additional labor needs due to business demands.
• Work extended hours, weekends, and other shifts as needed.
