Finished Goods Handler
About The Position
The Finished Goods Handler maintains, rotates, and selects finished goods inventory at Halperns Steak & Seafood’s Orlando facility. The role involves organizing products for routes and orders, preparing completed pallets for truck loading, keeping stock organized and rotated, and providing accurate inventory information to the production management team. The handler coordinates with the production manager to pull appropriate stock items and performs other duties as assigned. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with either a 12:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. shift. Starting pay is $18.00. Applicants must provide their most recent employment experience for the application to be considered complete.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must be able to work independently or within a team environment.
- Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to operate a powered industrial vehicle (PIV).
- Provide most recent employment experience for the application to be considered complete.
Responsibilities
- Stack products on pallets and cooler racks according to the appropriate route and/or order.
- Prepare completed pallets of product to be loaded onto trucks.
- Maintain organized stock, rotate it daily, and provide an accurate inventory report to the production management team.
- Coordinate with the production manager to pull appropriate stock items for orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
