About The Position
BizFirst is assisting its client, a boutique consulting firm, with recruiting for the Financial Transformation – FITM role supporting USTRANSCOM JFOSS and the U.S. Transportation Command. The firm employs consultants and professionals with specialized skills to support federal government strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation. Based on direction, the role analyzes financial data, assists with USSGL compliance reviews, and prepares reconciliations and reports. It also supports financial data automation and optimization initiatives and contributes data analysis and visualization skills to client deliverables and firm and practice development activities. The position is full-time and permanent, on-site at Scott AFB, Illinois.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Interim Secret security clearance or higher.
- Ability to analyze data sets, financial information, and system extracts to identify trends, variances, and anomalies under direction.
- Ability to review transactions against USSGL compliance requirements and assist with financial data and posting logic issues.
- Ability to build routine reports, execute standardized reconciliations, and prepare schedules or visualizations.
- Ability to apply financial modeling and basic data analytics tools to support data automation and optimization.
- Data analysis and visualization skills to support client deliverables and firm and practice development activities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data sets, financial information, and system extracts under direction to identify trends, variances, or anomalies.
- Assist in troubleshooting financial data and posting logic issues by reviewing transactions against USSGL compliance requirements.
- Build routine reports, execute standardized reconciliations, and prepare schedules or visualizations for client deliverables.
- Support data automation and optimization initiatives by applying financial modeling and basic data analytics tools.
- Contribute to firm and practice development activities by leveraging data analysis and visualization skills.
