Financial Transformation – FAO – USTRANSCOM JFOSS
About The Position
BizFirst is assisting its client, a boutique consulting firm, with recruiting for a Financial Transformation – FAO role supporting the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) JFOSS program. The firm supports the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation. In this role, you will support Federal accounting research, account reconciliations, audit responses, and transaction analysis under the direction of senior staff. The position is full-time and permanent, on-site at Scott AFB, Illinois, and requires an interim Secret security clearance or higher.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Interim Secret security clearance or higher.
- Ability to research Federal accounting standards, OMB circulars such as A-136, and technical guidance under senior staff direction.
- Ability to perform basic account reconciliations, variance analyses, and tie-outs on trial balances and financial statement line items.
- Ability to compile audit response packages, retrieve sample documentation, and track auditor requests.
- Ability to analyze routine transactions and journal entries to support accounting adjustments and methodology reviews.
- Research and drafting skills to support practice presentations, application guidance, and internal knowledge assets.
Responsibilities
