About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role is an entry-level position focused on obtaining necessary Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) through dedicated training. Upon licensure, the role involves learning foundational advisory skills, including client relationship management, understanding financial needs, and providing guidance. The position progresses to working in a financial center, delivering core banking and investment solutions, and providing client care. Successful FSAs typically advance to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, continuing to grow client portfolios and relationships. The Academy provides ongoing support through dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and registration with the federal registry system, and failure to maintain registration may result in termination.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.

  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of hire.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 days of hire.
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 licenses within specified timeframes.
  • Learn and apply foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships.
  • Assess clients' complex financial pictures and provide advice and solutions.
  • Humanize financial interactions.
  • Work in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions.
  • Provide client care.
  • Grow and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients (as FSA Stage II).
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice.
  • Deliver client reviews/presentations with confidence.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to solutions provided by Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Register with the federal registry system as required by the SAFE Act.
