About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role is an entry-level position focused on obtaining necessary Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) through dedicated training. Upon licensing, the role involves learning foundational advisory skills, including client relationship management, assessing financial needs, and providing advice. The FSA I will work in a financial center, delivering core banking and investment solutions. Successful progression leads to the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II role, focusing on growing and deepening client relationships. The Academy provides ongoing support and resources throughout the career journey. This position requires SAFE Act registration, including a background check and federal registry submission, with failure to maintain registration potentially leading to termination.

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience
  • 63 & 65 accepted, in lieu of 66

  • Learn and apply foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships.
  • Assess clients' complex financial pictures and guide them with advice and solutions.
  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions in a financial center setting.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews/presentations.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with appropriate solutions.
  • Interact with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients.
  • Manage time and capacity effectively.
  • Cultivate client relationships, access needs, and recommend solutions.
  • Create strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
