About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role begins with dedicated preparation for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After obtaining the required licenses, employees learn foundational advisory skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; understanding clients’ financial situations; and guiding them toward suitable advice and solutions. After reaching key milestones, employees work in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions and provide client care. The role includes structured development, coaching, tools, and resources through Bank of America’s Academy. Successful licensed Stage I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, with opportunities to advance into other roles at Bank of America and Merrill. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including registration with the federal registry system, a background check, and maintaining good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The role is open across the listed market, but the financial center assignment depends on business needs. Training will take place at one financial center; the employee may then work in a phone-based capacity until a financial center within a reasonable commuting distance is determined, to the extent permitted by law. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays and is listed as a first-shift, 40-hour-per-week role. It is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible. The stated pay range is $28.85–$33.65 per hour, with offers based on experience, education, and skill set. The role is benefits eligible.
