About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role begins with dedicated training and preparation to obtain the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (Series 63 and 65 are accepted in lieu of Series 66). After licensing, the advisor learns foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; understanding clients’ financial circumstances; and guiding them with advice and solutions. Following key development milestones, the advisor begins working in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions and client care. Successful Stage I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio, with opportunities to advance into other roles at Bank of America and Merrill. The position includes Academy training, one-on-one coaching, structured license lessons and dedicated study time, and a consultative approach to identifying client needs and suitable solutions. Advisors provide comprehensive advice, conduct client reviews and presentations, recommend strategies to support clients’ financial goals and priorities, and collaborate with banking and investment partners. The role is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including registration, a background check, and maintaining good standing. The SIE must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days. The position is open across the stated market, with the specific financial center assigned based on business needs. An employee may train at one financial center and then work in a phone-based capacity until a suitable financial center location within reasonable commuting distance is determined, as permitted by applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, first shift, and 40 hours per week. Pay is $28.85–$33.65 per hour, based on experience, education, and skill set; compensation is base salary and is not incentive eligible. The role is benefits eligible.
