The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) begins by obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes and study time for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams; Series 63 and 65 are accepted in lieu of Series 66. The SIE must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and Series 7 and 66 within 120 days. The role then develops foundational advisory skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, assessing clients’ financial circumstances, and offering advice and solutions. After key milestones, the advisor works in a financial center delivering core banking, investment solutions, and client care. Successful licensed FSA I employees typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, with further career opportunities at Bank of America and Merrill. The position includes structured training, onboarding, dedicated study time, and one-on-one coaching from Academy managers. Advisors use a defined consultative approach to identify client needs and suitable solutions, provide comprehensive advice and client reviews or presentations, recommend strategies for clients’ financial goals, and collaborate with banking and investment partners. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration, including a required background check and registration process; failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The role is based at the Tarzana financial center, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturdays, first shift, and 40 hours per week. The stated hourly pay range is $28.85–$33.65; compensation is base salary and is not incentive eligible. The role is benefits eligible.
