At Bank of America, the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) begins by obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes and study time for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After licensing, the advisor learns foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; understanding clients’ financial situations; and providing advice and solutions. After reaching key milestones, the advisor works in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions and client care. Successful FSA I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they continue developing skills and growing relationships within a client portfolio. The Academy provides programs, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. The employee must register with the federal registry system, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The role is open across the market, and the specific financial center location will be determined based on business needs. The employee will train at one financial center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until a financial center within a reasonable commuting distance is identified, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The position is in-office, with role-specific flexibility. It is a 40-hour-per-week first-shift role, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required. Compensation is $28.85–$33.65 per hour, based on experience, education, and skill set. Compensation consists of base salary and is not incentive eligible. The role is benefits eligible and includes access to paid time off.
