The Opportunity: As a Financial Services, Operations and Procurement Associate, you will experience and work with our practitioners across the financial services industry to help our clients address their most complex business challenges. Our teams have what it takes to be our clients’ partner of choice to help them innovate to drive growth, strategically reduce costs, improve operational flexibility, manage risk, improve capital efficiency, comply with complex regulatory requirements or realize deal value as they work to harness the opportunities. Your role will include, but isn’t limited to: You will operate within a sector vertical or across many sectors including banking, insurance, asset and wealth management, real estate, private equity and pension funds. You will also work as part of multidisciplinary teams composed of members outside the Operations practice and coming from all of our lines of services. You will help clients adopt modern ways of working, enabled by leading technologies, automation, and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

  • Completed an undergraduate degree in business, commerce, finance, economics, engineering, or a related university degree program
  • Strong interest in Financial Services (including banking and capital markets, insurance, pensions, wealth management, asset management, private equity, etc.) and business operations powered by the latest technologies
  • Basic understanding of business management principles, operational efficiencies and risk management
  • Experience with research and data gathering from a variety of sources
  • Experience with the Microsoft 365 suite
  • Openness to learning new skills and business tools
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others and build trustworthy relationships
  • Ability to quickly prioritize and coordinate tasks while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail as well as excellent organizational and analytical skills

  • Comfortable travelling to cities across Canada, if required
  • Fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada
