About The Position

First Quality Consumer Products (FQCP) is seeking a talented, team-oriented college student for its Financial Services department in McElhattan, Pennsylvania. This paid finance internship provides experience in the corporate finance department of a growing, family-owned group of manufacturing companies. The intern will be exposed to senior finance staff, the company’s plant finance organization, and its systems, and will gain experience in Accounts Receivable, Logistics, and Accounts Payable. The position involves working on real projects as part of a fast-paced team supporting the business.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated progress toward a degree in a related field of study, such as Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
0–3 years of experience, including academic projects.
Highly motivated, a strong team player, and able to multitask and reprioritize as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Junior- or senior-year college standing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Collect customer account balances through phone and email contact.
Review, investigate, and act on customer deductions within the assigned time frame.
Work with Sales Ambassadors and Brokers to resolve claims as needed.
Perform root cause analysis and interact with peers in cross-functional departments.
Maintain customer files in the ERP system as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
