About The Position

The Financial Service Representative delivers extraordinary experiences to current and prospective members across communication and service channels, providing prompt and accurate responses while building positive relationships. The role requires expertise in complex financial transactions, member account management, and accurate, compliant loan application processing. Representatives use advanced product knowledge to offer tailored financial solutions, meet quality assurance benchmarks, and uphold high standards of service. This is a non-NMLS registered position; representatives do not provide detailed information about Home Equity Lines of Credit or Mortgage Loans. The role contributes to branch success and member satisfaction and requires Saturday hours.

Requirements

• Maintain licensure for specialized services.

• Demonstrate strong product and industry knowledge and follow service, security, confidentiality, and regulatory protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong product and industry knowledge and achieve high scores on knowledge assessments.
• Follow service protocols, listen actively to member concerns, and use credit union tools to serve members by phone and in person.
• Determine members’ financial needs and provide customized solutions using credit analysis and product knowledge.
• Support sales growth by participating in advanced development initiatives, maintaining licensure for specialized services, and exceeding performance benchmarks for loans, memberships, and account openings.
• Build partnerships, represent the organization in the community, and stay current on consumer credit trends.
• Understand and follow organizational security protocols, including physical security, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Execute complex financial transactions, manage member accounts, and process loan applications accurately and in compliance.
