Finan Sales Associate - Store #19 Part-Time
About The Position
The Financial Sales Associate provides information to customers about the company’s financial services and promotes those services to increase Prospera sales. The role processes financial transactions using a computer, handles cash generated by transactions, maintains services inventory under their care, and provides a high level of customer service. The associate follows company policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money-laundering regulations, keeps a supervisor informed of events that may require intervention, and contributes to a positive working environment. The position is part-time at Store #19. The schedule may vary and requires flexibility, including weekends and holidays. The work environment is typical of an office and retail store.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience operating computers and conducting financial transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience in direct sales to customers.
- Understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to perform the job duties efficiently and competently.
- Regularly sit, stand, and use hands to handle, finger, or feel objects, tools, or controls; frequently walk, talk or hear, and reach with hands and arms; occasionally crouch or kneel.
- Occasionally lift or exert up to 20 pounds while carrying boxes of records and forms, and frequently exert or lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with information about available financial services, with the objective of increasing Prospera sales.
- Promote financial services to customers visiting the store.
- Operate a computer and process financial transactions effectively.
- Be responsible for cash generated by financial transactions.
- Provide the highest level of customer service.
- Comply with the manual of policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of services under custody.
- Keep the supervisor informed about events that may require intervention.
- Comply with Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money-laundering regulations.
- Help maintain a good working environment.
