About The Position

Northgate Gonzalez Market is hiring a part-time Financial Sales Associate for Store #51. The associate provides information about the company’s financial services and promotes them to store customers, with the primary goal of increasing Prospera Sales. The role processes financial transactions, handles cash associated with those transactions, maintains service inventory, and delivers a high level of customer service. It also requires following company policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money-laundering regulations, and keeping a supervisor informed of events that may require intervention. The position calls for bilingual English and Spanish skills, computer and financial-transaction experience, customer-service and direct-sales ability, and knowledge of company policies and procedures. The associate should be able to work with little or no supervision and be willing to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays. The work environment is typical of an office and retail store, and the work schedule may vary.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience operating computers and conducting financial transactions.
Excellent customer-service skills.
Experience in direct sales to customers.
Understanding of company policies and procedures.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Ability to sit, stand, handle, finger, or feel objects, tools, or controls; frequently walk, talk or hear, and reach with the hands and arms; and occasionally crouch or kneel.
Ability to occasionally lift or exert up to 20 pounds and frequently exert or lift moderate amounts of weight.
Close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Provide customers with appropriate information about the different financial services, with the objective of increasing Prospera Sales.
Promote financial services to customers visiting the store.
Operate a computer and process financial transactions effectively.
Be responsible for cash arising from financial transactions.
Provide the highest level of customer service.
Comply with the manual of policies and procedures.
Maintain inventory of services under custody.
Keep the supervisor informed of events that might require the supervisor’s intervention.
Comply with Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money-laundering regulations.
Maintain a good working environment.
