About The Position
Northgate Gonzalez Market is seeking a part-time Finan Sales Associate to promote and provide information about the company’s financial services, with the primary objective of increasing Prospera sales. The associate processes financial transactions, safeguards the cash and service inventory in their custody, and provides a high level of customer service while following company procedures and applicable financial regulations. The role requires bilingual English and Spanish communication, customer-facing sales experience, and the ability to operate a computer and conduct financial transactions. The associate works in an office and retail store environment, may have a varying schedule, and must be willing to work weekends and holidays. Northgate Markets is an equal opportunity employer.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience operating computers and conducting financial transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience in direct sales to customers.
- Understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to sit and stand regularly; handle, finger, or feel objects, tools, or controls; frequently walk, talk or hear, and reach with the hands and arms; and occasionally crouch or kneel.
- Ability to occasionally lift or exert up to 20 pounds and frequently lift or exert moderate amounts of weight.
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Explain the available financial services to customers and promote those services to customers visiting the store, with the objective of increasing Prospera sales.
- Operate a computer and process financial transactions effectively.
- Be responsible for cash received through financial transactions.
- Provide the highest level of customer service.
- Follow the manual of policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of services under the associate’s custody.
- Keep the supervisor informed of events that may require intervention.
- Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Regulations.
- Help maintain a good working environment.
